Oakland Arena is the home of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association and has been since the club moved to the area in 1971. The arena is located at 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621, and also was the home of several ice and roller hockey teams in previous years. Oakland Arena has parking available for nearly 10,000 cars and is located only two miles from the nearest international airport. The Golden State Warriors have retired four players and their numbers into their hall of fame including Rick Barry and Nate Thurmond, both of whom are regarded among the top players ever in the game. The stadium has 72 luxury suites and almost 4,000 club level seats and ticket prices are among the lowest in the NBA.
